Laboratory Technician IV

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialities in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Strong communication and collaboration with patients, providers, and team members are essential. At least 2 years of experience and exceptional skill is required. Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in various settings including Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, and Operating Room.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage case and hospice care for individuals with advancing age, frailty, and serious illness.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum of two years experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care.
- Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
- Strong interdisciplinary team collaboration abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Driver's license, car insurance, and reliable automobile for field work.
- Experience in specialized nursing areas such as ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room.
- Additional certifications relevant to specialty nursing practice.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and high-stress environments.
- May require on-call availability depending on unit needs.
- Flexibility to work in various clinical settings including hospice and critical care units.
- Schedule needs to be open and flexible to meet patient care demands.
- Shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
- Shift assignments determined by department needs and staffing requirements.
