Position Description: The Houseman helps room attendants stay productive by moving linen, removing trash, stocking supplies, delivering guest requests, and assisting with cleaning and special projects throughout the hotel. Key Responsibilities
- Strip rooms, remove dirty linen and trash, and support room attendants as needed.
- Restock housekeeping carts, linen closets, storage areas, and supplies.
- Deliver guest-request items such as towels, pillows, blankets, amenities, and other supplies.
- Move linen, carts, trash, furniture, rollaway beds, and housekeeping equipment safely.
- Assist with public-area cleaning, deep cleaning, and special housekeeping projects.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, damaged items, or unusual conditions to a supervisor.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and properly.
- Communicate professionally with guests and team members.
- Prior housekeeping, cleaning, hotel, janitorial, warehouse, or utility experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move supplies, carts, linen, trash, and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team.
- Professional attitude and guest service mindset.
- Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
