Part Time Family Office Senior Accountant

Vaco has a client near Bridgewater NJ looking for a part time Family Office Accountant to work onsite and be responsible for the accounting related to the owner’s personal finances, trusts and investments, as well as some real estate holdings. QuickBooks is required, as is experience working for a small family owned business or a family office. Trust and investment accounting experience is a plus. Hours can be split between 4 or 5 days a week onsite, for a total of 24 hours. Responsibilities invoice processing cash receipt recording bank reconciliations and monthly financial reporting for trusts, foundations, and investments posting journal entries processing year end 1099s recording expenses, receipts, distributions, payroll funding and other transactions accurately and on time trial balance generation and review provide financial reports act as the liaison in regards to tax returns Requirements Bachelors’ degree in accounting QuickBooks experience required Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting in a family office or small business environment Experience with accounting for Trusts and Foundations or Reals Estate is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Target Pay Target pay - $40-55hr Benefits The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan. #J-18808-Ljbffr Vaco Recruiter Services
