Location Admin Special Education - 877 Posting Information Posting Date: 03/20/2026 Posting Number: 052368 Job Title Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Job Description To promote the development of articulation, voice, fluency and language skills according to each student’s Individualized Educational Plans (IEP). Duties and Responsibilities Follow guidance from supervisor to implement treatment/goals and conduct therapy session in both English and Spanish Implement the IEP goals approved by the ARD Committee To maintain a positive relationship with supervisor, students and all school staff Maintain required data collection/therapy logs. Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain confidentiality. May require flexibility to travel to multiple campuses. Experience Experience in public school speech-language therapy Qualifications Education/Certification Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Current (or in progress) state license as a speech language pathology assistant through the Texas Department of Licensing Regulations (TDLR) Special Knowledge/Skills Knowledge in all areas of speech development and treatment of speech-language disorders Skills in working with campus staff, administrators and parents Fluent in both written and spoken English and Spanish Mental Demands / Physical Demands / Environmental Factors Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); interpret policy, procedures, and data; maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, and kneeling. May be required to lift and transfer students to and from wheelchair or assist with positioning students with physical disabilities.
