We're looking for a Material Handler Lead who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys leading by example.If you're passionate about inventory accuracy, warehouse operations, and helping a team succeed, this could be the next step in your career.What You'll DoAs a Material Handler Lead, you'll play a critical role in ensuring materials flow efficiently throughout our manufacturing operation while supporting and guiding a team of material handlers.Leadership & Team SupportLead and support daily warehouse and material handling activitiesTrain, coach, and assist team members to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are metFoster a positive, team-focused culture built on accountability and continuous improvementCoordinate daily priorities to keep production running smoothlyInventory & Material ControlEnsure timely movement of materials to production areasSupport inventory control activities, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy initiativesAssist with receiving, warehousing, shipping, and product identification processesMonitor material availability and proactively address shortagesMaintain proper storage, traceability, and organization of materialsSafety & Continuous ImprovementPromote a safe work environment and compliance with all safety proceduresSafely operate forklifts and other material handling equipmentIdentify opportunities to improve material flow, efficiency, and workplace organizationParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellencePhysical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment Ability to wear required PPE and operate material handling equipment safelyWhat We're Looking For: -High school diploma or GED -Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory control, or manufacturing operations -Forklift experience and ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment -Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy -Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment -Strong communication and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications: -Prior leadership experience -Experience with ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems -Manufacturing experience in a heavy equipment, industrial, or fabrication environment -Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and cycle counting processesEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
