INCOMING MATERIAL INSPECTOR

We are seeking an Incoming Material Inspector for our client in Parsippany, NJ. This position is responsible for inspecting incoming materials and packaging components, maintaining accurate quality records, supporting inventory control, and ensuring all materials meet company and customer quality standards. Responsibilities: • Perform incoming inspections and approvals of materials and packaging components • Review receiving reports and related documentation for accuracy • Collect and prepare samples for testing and customer submissions • Document non-conforming or out-of-specification materials • Assist with investigations and corrective actions • Maintain inspection records, logs, and quality documentation • Perform inventory transactions within the ERP system • Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts • Maintain compliance with quality procedures and GMP standards • Cross-train in other departmental functions as needed Qualifications: • Prior quality inspection, warehouse, manufacturing, or inventory experience preferred • Strong attention to detail • Good verbal and written communication skills • Basic computer and math skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Willingness to learn and cross-train Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Interested candidates should submit their resume for consideration.
