Production Supervisor

An industry-leading manufacturer-boasting over 65 years of excellence and 2.4 million square feet of state-of-the-art production space-is actively seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor near Terrell, Texas. As a key leader on the production floor, you will oversee daily operations, mentor and train staff to achieve peak performance, and drive lean manufacturing initiatives to ensure optimal safety, quality, and productivity.

This position offers a competitive starting salary of up to $90,000 (depending on experience), alongside an annual bonus and comprehensive health and retirement benefits package.

responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets

• Execute production schedules as directed by the Production Superintendent

• Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and equipment utilization to maintain operational efficiency

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a culture of accountability and safe work practices

• Maintain quality standards by monitoring production output and addressing defects or process deviations

• Identify production issues and escalate concerns to the Production Superintendent as needed

• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including waste reduction, process improvements, and efficiency gains

• Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve operational challenges

• Train, coach, and develop hourly employees to improve performance and engagement.

• Manage attendance, timekeeping, job assignments, and shift coverage
