The Branch Manager II oversees daily store operations to achieve or advance sales and margin goals. This involves promoting sales delivering excellent customer service nurturing inventory levels and balancing expenses through purchase supporting. Additionally the Branch Manager fosters facility and staff alignment to safety and regulatory standards empowering team members in providing efficient customer service maintaining good housekeeping and harmonizing overall operational efficiency.

• Provide professional customer service for all internal and external customers and call-in product pricing and technical inquiries.
• Supportthe outside sales team innurturingexisting client relationships andwelcomingnew business opportunities.
• Support the flow ofaccurate and timely daily processing of financial transactions including cash reports charge tickets coding costing pricing daily cash summaries and bank deposits.
• Build and nurture customer relationships providing excellent service.
• Guide and support direct reports in alignment with organizational policies and applicable laws.
• Maintainthe accuracy of back order open order and Purchase Order (PO) expedite reports.
• Cultivate and refineappropriate cylinder and hard goods inventory levels for the branch.
• Facilitate and leadtraining for inside sales associates on product knowledge company policies processes procedures and safetyensuring the confidence thatall associates canperformessential branch functions.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews for branch associate
• Maintain store operations and support team merchandising efforts.
• Partner with the team to monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock in the store.
• Prepare sales reports and analyze performance metrics to support continuous growth.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must operate in a drug-free workplace.
• Proven managerial experience in a customer-facing environment coupled with demonstrated expertise in Profit and Loss (P&L) management and the strategic use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive performance.
• Inventory Management: Ideally experience participating in cycle counts and full physical inventory processes.
• Customer Service & Sales Engagement: A strong foundation in customer service along with enthusiasm for nurturing relationships with existing house accounts through proactive outreach.
• Retail sales experience.
• Valued experience in people leadership with a dedication to supporting team growth and alignment coaching mentoring and team development .
• Skill in fostering alignment within complex customer relationships and guiding and supporting distribution center operations.
• Background in supporting and leading teams within a retail or industrial distribution environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.
• Proficient computer skills and an interest in learning new digital tools.
• The ability to navigate multiple priorities concurrently.
• Self-motivated with a focus on contributing to the overall teams success.
• Excellentverbal and written communication skills to effectively act as a bridge between staff and management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in related field.
• 5 years experience in sales with a track record of meaningful contributions and experience in the welding industry .
• Experience with inventory cultivation and vendor relationship support.
• Computer experience or basic knowledge of SAP .
