GenAI Front-End Engineer

Location: Bay Area, CA — Hybrid, 1–2 days per week onsite preferred
Employment Type: 6 Months - W2 Contract

Pay Rate: $81.51 - $91.51

Role Overview

BEPC is seeking a GenAI Front-End Engineer to build a reusable, embedded conversational AI and analytics experience that can integrate seamlessly into products owned by multiple teams.

This role is ideal for an experienced React and TypeScript engineer who has built embedded applications, micro-frontends, or reusable UI SDKs . You will develop an AI-powered interface capable of receiving authentication, application context, filters, and user interactions from host products while delivering streamed AI responses, conversation history, tables, charts, citations, and other structured results.

A key focus of this position is designing a clean and scalable integration model. The solution may leverage micro-frontends, Web Components, module federation, an embedded SDK, or secure iframe patterns. Candidates should have hands-on experience operating a UI experience inside another application , not simply developing standalone front-end applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable GenAI user experiences using React and TypeScript .
• Build embedded UI solutions that integrate reliably with applications owned and maintained by other product teams.
• Design clean integration APIs and SDK contracts, including callbacks, events, configuration options, and versioned interfaces.
• Develop mechanisms for receiving and managing host-application context, including active screens, filters, selected objects, user actions, and authentication state.
• Build responsive, multi-turn conversational AI experiences with streamed responses, clarification flows, conversation history, loading states, and robust error handling.
• Create reusable components for displaying structured AI results, including tables, charts, citations, analytics, and reusable results .
• Integrate REST and streaming APIs while supporting secure authentication and token-management workflows.
• Evaluate and implement appropriate embedding architectures, such as micro-frontends, Web Components, module federation, secure iframes, or embedded SDKs .
• Partner with product, engineering, and platform teams to establish integration patterns that can scale across multiple host applications.
• Help create a reliable, maintainable front-end architecture for enterprise GenAI and analytics experiences.

Qualifications

Required

• Strong production experience developing applications with React and TypeScript .
• Proven experience embedding a UI, service, or micro-frontend within another application.
• Experience designing reusable integration APIs, SDK contracts, callbacks, events, and versioned interfaces.
• Hands-on experience capturing context from host applications, such as active pages, filters, selected objects, and user actions.
• Experience developing streaming, multi-turn GenAI interfaces , including conversation history, clarification workflows, and error handling.
• Experience rendering structured responses such as tables, charts, citations, and reusable result components.
• Experience integrating REST and streaming APIs .
• Strong understanding of authentication and token-management patterns for embedded applications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across product and engineering teams responsible for different applications and services.

Preferred

• Experience developing reusable UI SDKs or component libraries consumed by multiple applications.
• Hands-on experience with micro-frontends, Web Components, module federation, or secure iframe architectures .
• Familiarity with MCP clients, embedded analytics, or enterprise copilot products .
• Familiarity with AWS, Amazon Bedrock, and AgentCore-backed applications .
