We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Assistant to support our small office team of 1-5 members. This role is integral in managing office workflow with a focus on supporting construction projects and multiple departments. The Administrative Assistant will handle purchasing, logistics coordination, budgeting, estimating, and assist with Zoom meetings. The ideal candidate will have experience in QuickBooks and a background in the construction industry is a plus. This position reports directly to the Office Manager and requires minimal travel.

 

Responsibilities

• Manage filing and document organization
• Handle phone communications professionally
• Assemble contract documents and project closeouts
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Coordinate purchasing and procurement activities
• Organize project documents for field personnel
• Assist with logistics coordination of materials
• Support budgeting, estimating, and meeting coordination

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business Administration or related field
• 2+ years of experience in office administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
• Experience with bookkeeping and document management
• Blueprint reading skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• High attention to detail
