About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Head of Transmission Products to lead the development of its transmission product suite. The successful candidate will be responsible for product development, supervision of product architecture, and managing a diverse product division. This role requires extensive executive leadership experience in data center, infrastructure, or renewable energy industries, with a specific focus on transmission work in the US. The VP will collaborate with cross-functional teams to set product development priorities, lead the integration of AI with proprietary datasets, and provide technical expertise on interconnection processes and grid integration challenges. Additionally, the role involves creating technical content, conducting training, and supporting sales efforts with in-depth knowledge of grid infrastructure and capacity studies. Applicants for the VP, Head of Transmission Products position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in high voltage electrical systems, with at least 2 years' in managing the transmission interconnection process for power plants. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a focus on power systems, is preferred, along with a Professional Engineer (Electrical) license. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and be self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented. Collaboration, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential. The role also requires the candidate to be comfortable in a dynamic organization and to have the ability to provide technical feedback to non-technical personnel.
