Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 per year, based on experience

United Industries Group (UIG) designs and constructs large bolted steel water tanks and concrete foundation systems that serve municipalities, utilities, and industrial facilities throughout the United States.

We're seeking a Civil Field Engineer who enjoys solving real-world construction challenges, working outdoors, and seeing projects come to life. This position travels nationwide, giving you the opportunity to work on major infrastructure projects while building a rewarding career with a growing company.

Travel expenses, lodging, rental vehicles, and per diem are provided while on assignment.

What You'll Do

• Oversee construction of concrete foundations and bolted steel water tank installations.
• Verify work complies with engineering drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate daily activities with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, engineers, and owners.
• Monitor construction schedules and assist with resolving field issues.
• Enforce OSHA and site safety requirements.
• Prepare daily reports, field documentation, photographs, and quality control records.
• Support QA/QC activities, including inspections, field testing, hydrotests, and material verification.
• Provide technical guidance and installation best practices to construction crews.

What We're Looking For

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• 2+ years of construction field engineering experience.
• Experience with concrete construction, foundations, heavy civil, industrial, or structural projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction documents.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 80% throughout the United States.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid passport or ability to obtain one.
• OSHA-30 certification or willingness to obtain.

Preferred

• Spanish bilingual.
• Experience with water tanks, industrial facilities, municipal infrastructure, or heavy civil construction.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, materials testing, and construction inspection.
