Job Title : AI-Native Software Engineer

Location: RTP/NC , San Jose/CA

Job Summary

We are seeking an AI-Native Software Engineer with strong experience building secure, scalable web applications across cloud and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate combines solid software engineering and system design skills with hands-on experience using AI throughout the software development lifecycle .

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications.

Use AI-assisted and spec-driven development for coding, testing, debugging, and defect resolution.

Develop backend services using Python, Java, Node.js , or similar technologies.

Build frontend applications using React, JavaScript, Backbone , or comparable technologies.

Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure systems.

Work with technologies such as Kafka, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Oracle, and CockroachDB .

Apply cloud-native technologies and architectures.

Review AI-generated code and identify security, performance, scalability, and design issues .

Evaluate build-vs-buy decisions and make sound technical trade-offs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt quickly to emerging AI development tools.

Required Skills

Strong software engineering experience with large-scale web applications.

Hands-on experience leveraging AI across the SDLC .

Strong backend experience with Python, Java, and/or Node.js .

Frontend experience with React, JavaScript, and/or Backbone .

Experience with cloud-native, distributed, fault-tolerant systems .

Strong knowledge of system design, performance, scalability, and security.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
