Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30 or 08:00 - 16:30)

Assignment Details

Contract length: Minimum 8 weeks

Requirements

• Minimum experience: 2 years (1st timers not accepted)
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS, State Licensed (if applicable)
• Experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab; Trauma Level II required
• Unit systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
• Floating within the facility/scope of practice as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing care for patients in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures as directed by physicians.
• Monitor patient status and maintain safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment used within the cath lab.
• Assist in maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.

Compliance / Notes

Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time, push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. RTO: MAX 7 days. Call requirements involve a 4-man call team with 3 teams. If one major holiday falls in the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays fall, the traveler is expected to work two.
