Requirements

• Active California RN License
• Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• ADN or BSN
• BLS/CPR
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS
• CPI or MAB, MVB, or AVADE – must be an 8-hour course with at least half completed in person

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide safe, therapeutic, and age-appropriate nursing care
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions based on patient response
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide patient and family education
• Advocate for patients and families throughout the care process
• Coordinate care, referrals, and patient progression
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Respond appropriately to complex and high-risk clinical situations
