Requirements & Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience One to three months of related experience and/or training is a plus Must become a licensed boiler operator Proficient in spoken and written English Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedure manuals Basic mathematical skills, including calculating percentages, areas, and volumes Ability to use basic computer and manufacturing software Able to stand and/or walk throughout the shift, use hands to handle equipment, and communicate clearly Occasionally able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Capable of close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus Willingness to work in environments with wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, and temperature extremes Comfortable working in areas with a loud noise level Day-to-Day Responsibilities Operate and monitor boiler machinery and related systems safely and efficiently Read, interpret, and follow safety and maintenance procedures Perform routine inspections and report any issues or irregularities Complete daily logs, reports, and basic correspondence as needed Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow This is an opportunity to join a stable and respected organization where your attention to safety and detail will make a direct impact.
