Overview: Supports the mission of the organization as a member of the multidisciplinary team in the provision of the highest quality healthcare to include individualized patient and family-centered, holistic and supportive care in a safe and caring environment. This position provides patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse for a group of patients for a designated timeframe and provides care and interaction to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment with assistance from other healthcare members. This person functions as a member of the therapeutic team as designed by the policies and procedures of Piedmont Behavioral Health.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Bachelors Degree in behavioral health sciences Preferred

Work Experience

• No experience required Required
• experience in Behavioral health and/or addictive disease Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• Crisis Prevention within 60 Days Required
