Telemetry Technician

FT Telemetry Technician - Acute Care/Med Surg Salary $23.19 - $26.91 per hour Responsible For Identifying, monitoring, and responding to potentially life‑threatening rhythm changes, initiating codes, recording rhythms and responding to all monitor alarms. Ability to recognize life‑threatening cardiac rhythms is an essential service in some hospital admissions. Prefer LVN or CNA with telemetry certificate. Roles and Responsibilities Maintains documentation of the cardiac rhythms for placement in the medical record, reports arrhythmias to the appropriate charge nurse and physician. Answers telephone and records messages for physician or nursing staff. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications and Skills Certification from an accredited telemetry recognition program. Excellent reading and writing skills. Must have good telephone skills. BLS certification.
