Employment Type: Part time Shift: Evening Shift Description: Per Diem - Days - Heritage House What you will do: Candidate will work as an environmental aid which will include Floorcare and Carpet care functions within an area, location or building. Using specific machinery to clean, wax and buff floors as required. This position involves working alone and/or in a group to provide a variety of “Project” functions and "Housekeeping" maintenance tasks. Shall know and practice all general procedures as utilized in the department. The ability to makes decision to act on responsibilities without being instructed. Trains other department employees on the proper “Project” techniques and operating standards designed for a specific environment Responsibilities: Thorough room cleaning: follow all processes as designated by training policies to ensure all area, fixtures, and surfaces and surfaces are cleaned daily or as assigned, and in a timely manner. Comply with any infection control policies and procedures. Maintains good working relationships and communicates with other departments, residents, families and fellow staff. Responds pleasantly to all requests. Communicates to Housekeeping Supervisor only problems encountered while performing daily routine. Performs any other duties assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor or Director. What you will need: Performs functions, duties and carry out responsibilities of housekeeping. Follow written and verbal instructions Candidate must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds, possess a basic knowledge of how to dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize. Pay Range: $18.00 Per Diem Flat Rate Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
