Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 6 months of recent acute care experience for a 13-week night shift assignment at a hospital in Aurora, CO.

Job Details

• Work in the Respiratory Therapy unit of a 350-bed hospital,
• Staffing includes 1 charge and 5 staff on both day and night shifts,
• Patient ratios vary based on unit census,
• Uses Hamilton G5/C1/T1, V60, and Vyaire Avea ventilator equipment,
• EMR system is Meditech,
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM,
• 13-week assignment length,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care RRT hospital experience,
• CRT or NBRC certification required,
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required,
• License required if applicable,
• Meditech EMR experience preferred,
• PEDS/NICU/PICU experience preferred,
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Perform ventilator management and airway management procedures,
• Provide respiratory care as part of an energetic, team-oriented staff,
• Patient experience is a top priority for this unit,
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,
• Local candidates within the radius are not eligible for this position
