Member Services Representative

Qualified applicants must have a High School diploma or GED and 2–3 years related work experience. Associate’s degree or vocational training preferred. Required Skills General knowledge of customer service experience and general office practices. Basic office equipment and computer applications, including Word and Excel, and the ability to learn and navigate new software. Ability to quickly and accurately key member information, prepare correspondence to members and process payments. Ability to analyze and effectively communicate bill calculations. Ability to promote Cooperative or CVEC Fiber promotions, products and services. Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to provide basic technical support, clarify information, manage emotions, and respond with diplomacy. Must possess and demonstrate a professional and friendly attitude, with the ability to develop rapport with members over the phone and in person. Strong work ethic and self‑starter with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple duties, adapt to quick change in a fast‑paced office environment, follow-through on commitments, maintain focus, and contribute to team performance. Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
