Physical TherapistThe Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Coordinates delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff. Maintains performance activities within the department and participates in CQI activities.Master's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from a New York State Registered or Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) / American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Accredited Physical Therapy ProgramThree (3) or more years of experience in all aspects of physical therapy.Current New York State Licensed Physical TherapistCurrent Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.)Knowledge of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy and physiologyKnowledge of physical therapy machine operation, maintenance and repairs of same.Basic computer knowledgeAbility to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.Strong written and verbal skills.
