Customer Service Attendant Merchandiser

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of full-time Customer Service Attendant Merchandiser at one of our accounts in Lordstown, OH. This position will work 5:00PM - 1:00AM Monday - Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods and other foodservice products at client locations.

· Merchandise products according to established standards, ensuring shelves, coolers, vending machines and/or market displays and designated product areas are fully stocked, organized and visually appealing.

· Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged or stale products.

· Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.

· Maintain attractive, clean and organized product displays and merchandising areas.

· Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages and customer preferences.

· Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.

· Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.

Requirements:

· Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Excellent organization and time management skills

· Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees

· Ability to perform calculations in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
