We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machinist using an engine lather to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and setting up precision machining operations on a manual lathe and milling machine. No experience necessary, we will train the right applicant. Duties Set up, calibrate, and operate manual lathes and basic milling machine Utilize precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensions and tolerances. Perform tooling setup and adjustments, including selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job Maintain a clean, organized work area Assist in assembly processes when necessary, ensuring parts meet quality standards before final assembly Experience Proven experience as a Machinist or Engine Lather in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but we will train the right individual
