Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse position available in the facility located in Plano, Texas. This role involves working on Mother/Baby units with the potential to float between different obstetric units, providing high-quality patient care in a level IV maternity center caring for routine and high-risk obstetric patients. The position supports a dedicated team and expects flexibility with scheduling, including availability for two weekend shifts.

Job Details:

• Location: 3901 W 15th Street, Plano, TX 75075
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) license, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); less than 1 year of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Stable, Computerized Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) scrubbing training
• Float: Float rotation may be required to Mother Baby or NICU feeder growers
• Additional Responsibilities: Assisting with labor, delivery, recovery, and high-risk antepartum patient care; circulating in operating rooms; triage and assessment of pregnant patients at all stages of pregnancy.
• Unit Details:
  • 21 beds, 4 recovery rooms, 3 OR suites, 4 bed OBED
  • Staff: 80 team members, including RN charge nurses, OB technicians, and unit secretaries
  • Equipment: GE fetal monitors, acumen, JADA, EMR Meditec, and CPN
• Unit Policies: Level IV maternity center; candidates must be flexible and team-oriented with a positive attitude.
