Front Desk Associate

Overview

Job Summary:
The Front Desk Associate is the first point of contact for all customers and visitors to the business, and performs administrative assistant duties for various departments during downtime.


Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors and comply with building security policies
• Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and faxes
• Prepare outgoing mail/packages and arrange for any necessary pick up
• Maintain signature log for customers picking up and dropping off
• Perform general office duties as needed (making copies, ordering office supplies, distributing inhouse material, etc.)
• Assist with company mailings (stuffing and sealing envelopes, addressing, stamping, etc.)
• Organize and maintain files and databases in a confidential manner
• Maintain an understanding of business operations/services to direct visitors and calls appropriately
• Scan and file documents for various departments in downtime

Education and Experience:

• Associates degree in business or related field preferred
• 2-3 years of clerical, secretarial, or office experience preferred

Physical Requirements:


Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times Walking, getting up and down from chair frequently
