Senior Software Engineer - Platform

Responsibilities Ensure that Unify can scale to support our hyper growth and provide a stable platform for large scale customers such as Cursor, Perplexity and Decagon Collaborate with Product, Design, and GTM stakeholders to translate ambiguous business goals into a clear, phased engineering plan. Establish coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategy, reliability targets, and observability practices that future teams will inherit. Rapidly prototype with third‑party APIs, databases, model‑serving platforms, and infra vendors to accelerate customer value. Provide technical leadership for (and — if you’re up for it — manage) engineers across domains—pairing, reviewing, and unblocking as you go. Qualifications 5+ years of professional software-engineering experience Deep, hands‑on expertise scaling and operating PostgreSQL—designing partitioned/sharded schemas, tuning indexes and queries, automating backups and observability, and running resilient multi‑TB clusters with replication and failover. Proven track record of shipping high‑impact, production‑grade systems at scale. Passion for customers: you prototype quickly, iterate on feedback, and sweat the edge‑cases that matter.
