Travel CT Technologist – Texas
Shift: Friday–Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT and radiology imaging in a fast-paced clinical setting. The technologist will be responsible for independently performing CT exams, ensuring patient safety, obtaining accurate imaging, and communicating findings to radiologists. This role requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic CT and radiology exams using GE CT and X-ray equipment
• Verify patient identity and review medical history for appropriateness of exams
• Administer patient education regarding procedures, risks, and follow-up care
• Acquire and evaluate imaging, documenting exceptions and communicating with radiologists
• Respond to medical emergencies as needed
• Assist with radiology technologist duties when required
• Support quality improvement initiatives and patient flow efficiency
• Provide education to students, residents, and new staff when needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years recent CT and Radiology experience
• Must be able to work independently
• ARRT (CT and Radiology) certification required
• BLS (American Heart Association only)
• Active Texas CT/Radiology license required
• Experience with GE CT and X-ray equipment required

Schedule Details:

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday schedule
• 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• On-call available if desired

Additional Information:

• Must submit all required documentation at time of application
• Candidates must be fully compliant with facility submission requirements
• No missed documentation allowed (SSN, DOB, RTR, vendor packet required)
• Strong independent clinical decision-making required
