Physical Therapist Contract Role

This contract role places a physical therapist in a school setting to deliver individualized treatment and support student success over a 36-week period in or near Northampton, Massachusetts. The position offers up to $58 per hour, with a focus on improving student mobility and functional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students with diverse needs across school buildings
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with school staff
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapies accordingly
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to support student success

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or State Equivalent
• Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist license
• CPR certification
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Physical Therapist
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Background check clearance
• Ability to work with children in a school environment
• Flexibility in schedule
• Comfortable working in a dynamic school setting
