Position: Full-Time Live-In Family Assistant/Nanny

Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday with flexibility for alternative schedules (such as longer days with additional days off). Occasional Saturday mornings required, with Sundays and Mondays typically off. Rare overnight coverage for occasional work trips.

Salary: $62,000+ annually, depending on experience, with benefits including health insurance and vehicle use

The mother currently helps operate a family chicken business while also focusing on raising their growing family. As first-time employers in a private household setting, they are eager to find the right person who can bring stability, support, and consistency to their daily routine.

Children: Two children, ages 3 and 1
Pets: Farm environment; comfort around animals and country living is important
Household Staff: Cleaning service provides deep cleaning every month

The family maintains a low-key home environment with limited screen time and an emphasis on reading, imaginative play, outdoor time, and nurturing development.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, engaging childcare for two young children
• Plan age-appropriate activities centered around creativity, reading, pretend play, and developmental growth
• Maintain children's routines
• Assist with children's meals, tidying play areas, laundry, and organization related to the children
• Support the household with light family assistant duties and daily flow management
• Potentially assist with calendar management, trip booking, scheduling, and other administrative support over time
• Occasionally provide flexibility for rare overnight coverage during work-related travel
• Collaborate closely with parents to create a calm, structured, and loving environment

Requirements

• Prior experience working with young children in a nanny or family assistant role
• Excellent professional and personal references
• Legal to work in the United States
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Flexible, organized, and dependable
