Payroll Administrator

An opportunity to work cross-functionally with HR, accounting, and field operations teams supporting a large, multi-state workforce. Details 4–6 month contract position Onsite in Mt. Airy, but open to candidates in Charlotte Responsibilities Support payroll processing activities from time collection through paycheck calculation and payment distribution. Review payroll data, wage calculations, deductions, taxes, and adjustments to identify and resolve discrepancies. Process off-cycle payments, pay adjustments, final checks, voids, stop payments, and reissue requests as needed. Respond to employee and internal stakeholder payroll questions in a timely, professional, and confidential manner. Partner with HR, managers, and payroll team members to resolve timekeeping or payroll issues and support process improvements. The Background That Fits 2+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience. Experience working with payroll systems such as UKG/UltiPro, ADP, Oracle HCM, or similar platforms. Strong attention to detail with the ability to review payroll data, identify issues, and reconcile discrepancies. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
