Key Responsibilities

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Administering physical therapy services as delegated and supervised by licensed physical therapists to facilitate patient rehabilitation.
• Conducting patient assessments to monitor progress and document therapeutic interventions timely and accurately.
• Implementing treatment plans that are grounded in recent evidence-based practices and tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Educating patients and their families about therapeutic exercises and home care strategies to enhance recovery.
• Maintaining compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards to prevent contamination during therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population of all age groups, addressing a variety of physical challenges including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or an Associate Degree from an accredited physical therapist assistant program is required.
• Licensure: Must possess a current state license to practice physical therapy in Tennessee.
• Certifications: CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, with a strong focus on manual therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
