ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking an Application Specialist II for a global technology environment, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in IT systems administration, network configuration, and technical support looking to further their career in enterprise technology operations.

• Program and configure client's Global Security Systems & Technology (GSST) including Access Control, Video Management, Cameras, Intercoms, and Key Management systems in alignment with an aggressive build schedule
• Provide support and technical training on security hardware and software to end users
• Deliver system support to Integrators/LSPs in the field
• Lead project management of Integrator/LSP resources, coordinating testing and commissioning of projects in the field
• Troubleshoot client's security technologies including Access Control, Video Management, Intercoms, and Key Management systems
• Provide PC/Mac support on Windows and Mac hardware and software for end users via phone and email
• Enforce and follow documented installation standards and New Builds processes including DHCP reservations, MAC whitelisting, Load Sheets, and other New Builds documentation
• Perform network troubleshooting as it relates to enterprise technology systems
• Configure and maintain local network infrastructure including servers, workstations, routers, and switches
• Create and maintain scripts and automation procedures to streamline software installation and system configuration
• Document software installation procedures, system configurations, and settings
• Understand and apply standards and practices related to Intermediate Distribution Frames and equipment rooms
• Support integration between systems and demonstrate basic integration concepts to stakeholders

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration, technical support, or enterprise infrastructure engineering
• Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Windows, Mac, and Linux-based servers and workstations
• Strong networking fundamentals: DHCP, TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS/Name Resolution, IPv6, VPN, and firewalls
• Experience designing, configuring, and maintaining local area networks including routers, switches, and network devices
• Experience creating scripts or automation procedures to streamline production workflows and software installation
• Ability to perform hardware and software troubleshooting across servers, desktops, and laptops
• Experience documenting system configurations, installation procedures, and operational standards
• Experience managing or coordinating a team in a production or technical operations environment
• Basic understanding of databases and concepts around database queries
• Strong communication skills with the ability to train and support end users and field technicians

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience with physical security systems including Access Control, Video Management, or GSST platforms
• Familiarity with enterprise access control systems such as Software House CCure 9000 or similar
• Experience with cluster computing environments (e.g., Bright Computing)
• NVIDIA DGX, Lenovo, or equivalent enterprise hardware certifications
• CompTIA Server+, A+, Network+, or similar certification
• Prior experience with global enterprise deployments at scale
