Job Description Lead, coach, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians Set technical direction, prioritize projects, and allocate resources Establish performance goals, conduct reviews, and support career development Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement Design, improve, and standardize manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment Drive improvements in yield, cycle time, throughput, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for manufacturing issues Develop and maintain standard work, work instructions, and process documentation Provide hands‑on engineering support to production during issue resolution Support new product introductions (NPI), process transfers, and scale‑up activities Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to meet production goals Ensure processes meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and kaizen initiatives Identify and implement cost‑reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities Develop business cases and manage capital equipment and tooling projects Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field 7+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience 3+ years of people management or technical leadership experience Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and structured problem‑solving Experience with PFMEA, control plans, and process validation Proven ability to lead multiple projects in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree or MBA Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (medical, aerospace, automotive, etc.) Experience with automation, fixtures, and capital equipment projects Familiarity with ERP and MES systems Compensation The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is $100,000-$115,000.
