Elevate your career as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst supporting high-performing high schools near Palmdale, CA for the 2026/27 academic year! This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate closely with school psychologists and administrative teams while working itinerantly across several nearby campuses.
You’ll take the lead in completing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), conducting targeted observations, developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and championing evidence-based interventions. Your expertise will be vital to supporting students—including those with Emotional Disturbance (ED) designations—and empowering school staff to cultivate positive learning environments.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- At least one year of experience working with school-age populations; high school setting strongly preferred
- Demonstrated background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) within schools
- Experience supporting students with ED and other complex needs
- Training in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Reliable transportation for travel between schools
