Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?Job Title: Host/SupportLocation: Karbach Restaurant & PatioPosition Type: Part-TimePosition OverviewKarbach Brewing Company is looking for a dynamic and hospitality-driven Host to join the team at Karbach Restaurant & Patio.As a member of the support staff, you are the face of our Pub! Often times you will be the first person the guest meets when they walk in and the last one they talk to on the way out.As the main person at the host stand you are responsible for greeting guests and finding how to best guide them through the Pub. You should be able to speak confidently about all our in-house and-to-go options as well as all retail items. In addition to helping guests, you are also expected to provide support for servers and bartenders including: running food & drinks, and bussing tables.The support staff is one team and every member must be able to work together to ensure a successful shift.Duties:Host:Stock retail, crayons, and menus at host standGreet and de-greet every guestHelp guests navigate different areas of the PubManage waitlist and quote accurate wait timesCommunicate with servers and support team about table availabilityTalk about and sell retail and packaged beerTake to go- orders over the phone and in person, and quote accurate wait timesAnswer all phone calls professionallyBusser:Keep pub clean: spot sweep floor, dust railing, clean windowsPre-bus tables as guests finish pates/drinksCommunicate orders to the server when askedCompletely bus tables when guests leave and wipe it down (sweep when necessary)Help support host and food runnerAssist in all areas of the pub: bar, dining, entryRunner: Keep server line stocked: ketchup, water, ice and rolled silverwareListen to expo’s directions and take correct food to the correct table and seat positionHelp expedite food when the expo is off the lineWhen there is no food coming up, help busser in the dining roomHelp communicate 86’s to FOH staffCOMPANY:At Karbach, our beer is Crafted for Fun, and we think where you work should be too.
