Finance ManagerElement has an opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our growing team. The Senior Finance Manager will be the business partner for Element's North America IoT Division responsible for maximizing performance of the division driving organic growth through productivity improvements, margin evolution and capital expenditure investments. In addition, leading planning and forecasting activities and managing month-end close and other reporting requirements.Element is a global provider of lab-based Testing, Inspection and Certification services, powering confident decisions in the most highly-regulated industries.ResponsibilitiesBusiness partnering for Division Director and General Managers through a deep understanding of their business challenges and opportunitiesMonitor business performance improvement, challenging the management team through detailed financial analysis and recommendations in areas such as margin and productivityProduction of accurate and meaningful monthly reports and management information, adhering to reporting requirementsProactively guide, support and challenge the Operational & Commercial teams to enhance performance, share insight and devise both strategic and tactical plansLead the ongoing business cycle of budgeting, re-forecasting, monitoring and delivering against targets and timelines for the divisionLead capital expenditure process ensuring timely and quality requests are progressed, expenditure is tracked and financial returns monitoredPlay an instrumental role in supporting and evaluating appropriate initiatives to maximize EBITDAAssure governance of the business including compliance with Element processes, procedures, control environment including delegation of authority frameworkSkills / QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance or accounting with a minimum seven (7) years' experience in accounting and/or finance, with a mix of both preferred. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting and forecasting principles in order to make educated decisionsDemonstrated experience in partnering with a dynamic commercial structure to drive results throughout the revenue processExperience in budget and forecasting cycles, including preparation and presentation of work productsExperience at a strategic or corporate level in performance monitoring and reporting, strategic and business planning and supporting organizational changeStrong written and oral communication skills, with excellent attention to detail. Ability to interpret, disseminate and present information to a variety of internal and external audiences in a way that informs and influences their decision makingExperience establishing and developing performance monitoring tools and reports for different audiencesProven ability to think and plan strategically and achieve buy-in from the senior leaders in the organizationExperience working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Able to work in partnership with people at all levels, demonstrating strong skills in constructive, challenge, facilitation, collaboration, networking and influencingStrong analytical and organizational skills including the ability to balance and independently manage workload that includes multiple concurrent priorities. Self-motivated, able to set and deliver to deadlinesAdvanced MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel in particular).
