Job Overview A dynamic and rapidly growing personal injury law firm is seeking a motivated and client-focused attorney to join its team in Ohio. This full-time, in-office role involves managing a diverse caseload of personal injury matters and leading a support team to ensure each case is processed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in personal injury law, excellent negotiation skills, and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients. Location Cleveland, Ohio Duties Conduct comprehensive medical case reviews Negotiate and settle cases in both pre-litigation and litigation stages Review insurance policies, claims, and supporting documentation Prepare, draft, and argue legal documents including memoranda, liability theories, and demand letters Communicate with insurance companies to coordinate billing and treatment for clients Provide case updates and legal guidance to clients regularly Conduct client intake meetings and assess case viability Manage a docket of personal injury cases in accordance with firm policies Attend and conduct IMEs (Independent Medical Examinations), EUOs (Examinations Under Oath), and recorded statements Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional standards Perform additional duties as assigned by management Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing personal injury law Strong negotiation, writing, and communication skills Ability to work independently while effectively managing a case team Intermediate to advanced computer and office skills Ability to evaluate legal issues and recommend strategic actions Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Certifications Active license to practice law in the State of Ohio (in good standing) Skills Legal analysis and drafting skills specific to personal injury claims Proficiency in managing multiple cases and deadlines Strong interpersonal and client-facing communication skills Knowledge of personal injury processes and legal procedures Team leadership capabilities and ability to manage paralegal support staff Benefits Quarterly performance-based bonuses Paid time off and personal leave Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid long-term disability and life insurance Supplemental insurance options (short-term disability, voluntary life, hospital, critical illness, accident) 401(k) retirement plan Company-paid parking #J-18808-Ljbffr
