Duration: Ongoing locumscoverage Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of emergency medical conditions Provide leadership and supervision for APPs and ED staff during shifts Stabilize critically ill and injured patients, and coordinate admissions or transfers when necessary Collaborate with nursing staff and hospitalists to maintain efficient patient flow and ensure high‑quality care Accurately document all patient encounters using the MEDHOST EMR system Requirements Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM required) Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start) Current ACLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications Two or more years of recent emergency department experience preferred Located in central Florida’s scenic Highlands County, Sebring offers a relaxed pace of life surrounded by natural beauty.
