Job ID 87735-147 | Date posted 04/16/2026 Certified Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech Metropolitan Surgery Center is hiring a per diem Certified Surgical Technologist. The role involves scrubbing for surgical procedures and demonstrating competence while being a member of the surgical team. Responsibilities include maintaining a sterile field, preparing supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures, and supporting the surgical team in quality improvement activities. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification as required by state and/or center. Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient. Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation. Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians.
