Civil Engineer

Civil Engineer | Site Development & Stormwater Design

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to a variety of commercial, industrial, and municipal site development projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on all phases of project delivery, including site design, stormwater management, permitting, construction documentation, and field inspections.

Assist in the planning, design, and development of civil site and infrastructure projects, including:

• Storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water utility systems
• Site grading and drainage design
• Stormwater management facilities
• Erosion and sediment control plans

Prepare engineering deliverables, including:

• Construction drawings and specifications
• Stormwater management reports
• Cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
• Construction details and permitting documents
• Agency coordination and regulatory submissions

Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for:

• Stormwater collection systems
• Sanitary sewer systems
• Culvert sizing and design
• Roof drainage systems
• Detention and retention pond design

Support construction administration activities through:

• Site inspections
• Erosion control compliance reviews
• Field documentation and reporting
• Coordination with contractors and project stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of civil engineering experience
• Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong understanding of site development, grading, drainage, and utility design
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $48.08/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
