Labor and Employment Attorney - Paid Leave Specialist

Overview A law firm seeks a labor and employment attorney with over three years of experience to join its Paid Leave Practice in San Francisco, CA. This hybrid position requires expertise in advising employers on state and local paid leave laws, including paid sick leave, paid time off, and related accommodation obligations. Duties Advise employers on compliance with state and local paid leave laws. Draft and review leave and accommodation policies. Guide employers through multi‑state compliance issues. Assist with agency audits and investigations. Respond to administrative complaints. Advise on leave administration practices. Requirements Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Ability to obtain licensure based on office location and client needs. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Motivated to stay current on evolving paid leave laws. Ability to synthesize complex legal requirements into practical advice. Education Excellent academic credentials required. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the state of residence. Skills Strong legal research and writing skills.
