The company values teamwork and camaraderie and is looking for someone who communicates well, is approachable, and enjoys getting to know employees—not just managing HR processes from behind a desk.Whether you're an experienced HR Generalist ready to take the next step or an established HR Manager, we'd love to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the daily operations of the Human Resources department.Partner with managers and employees to provide guidance on employee relations, policies, and HR best practices.Investigate employee concerns and recommend appropriate resolutions.Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and onboarding.Coordinate employee orientation, training, and development initiatives.Supervise and mentor HR support staff.Maintain HRIS records, personnel files, and employee documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Process personnel changes including new hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations.Assist in developing and updating employee handbooks, policies, procedures, training materials, and job descriptions.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.Partner with leadership on workforce planning, employee engagement, retention, and continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.Previous HR Manager experience is preferred, but experienced HR Generalists are encouraged to apply.Manufacturing or industrial HR experience strongly preferred.Experience supporting a union workforce is a plus.Experience with ADP Workforce Now or a comparable HRIS is preferred.Strong knowledge of employment law, recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Comfortable maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility and building strong working relationships with production employees, supervisors, and leadership.Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and as part of a team.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.Why You'll Love This OpportunityJoin a stable, well-established manufacturing company.Opportunity to influence HR strategy while remaining involved in day-to-day operations.Work alongside a collaborative leadership team.Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package.Long-term career growth opportunities.
