Occupational Therapist / Occupational Therapy Assistant

PYG Therapy is seeking Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to provide pediatric therapy services in patients' homes throughout Arizona.

We work with children and families to support participation, independence, and development in everyday activities. Clinicians receive support with scheduling, caseload development, documentation, and clinical collaboration. Check out our website at pygtherapy.com

Compensation

• Occupational Therapist: $64–$92 per hour
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant: $46–$75 per hour
• Rates vary based on experience, location, and employment classification
• Full-time, part-time, and independent contractor positions available
• Caseloads can be tailored to clinician availability

Position Responsibilities

Occupational Therapist

• Provide occupational therapy services to pediatric patients in the home
• Complete evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions based on patient needs and established goals
• Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as appropriate
• Complete required clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes
• Educate parents and caregivers on strategies that support carryover at home
• Communicate with caregivers and other members of the care team
• Participate in care coordination as needed

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

• Provide occupational therapy treatment to pediatric patients in the home
• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Provide therapeutic activities based on patient goals and needs
• Document treatment sessions and patient progress
• Support development of functional skills and independence
• Educate caregivers on activities and strategies that support treatment goals
• Communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist regarding patient progress and concerns
• Collaborate with caregivers and other members of the care team

Schedule

PYG Therapy offers scheduling options for clinicians with a variety of availability.

Opportunities may include:

• Full-time W-2 employment
• Part-time W-2 employment
• 1099 independent contractor arrangements
• Approximately 8–25 visits per week, depending on position and availability
• Pediatric home health assignments throughout Arizona

Our scheduling team assists with identifying appropriate patient opportunities based on clinician availability and service area.

Qualifications

Occupational Therapist

• Current Arizona Occupational Therapy license
• Current CPR certification
• AHCCCS provider ID
• Article 9 certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to provide services in a home-based setting
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

• Current Arizona COTA/OTA license
• Current CPR certification
• Article 9 certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to provide services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Experience

Pediatric or home health experience is preferred but not required.

New graduates and clinicians transitioning into pediatric home health are welcome to apply.
