ECHO/VASCULAR ultrasound technologist

Job Title: ECHO/VASCULAR ultrasound technologist Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour Responsibilities Per Diem by case. Acquire and interpret m-mode, 2-D, pulse and continuous Doppler, and color Doppler echocardiograms. Perform contrast echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms. Complete echo worksheets and perform all necessary calculations in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and safe work environment following aseptic techniques. Education Requirements Bachelor of Science degree preferred. Experience Requirements At least 3 years as an Echocardiographer preferred. Licensing and Certification Requirements BLS certification. RDCS required. Qualifications Certification as an Echo Technologist. Proven experience in cardiology or related fields is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and cardiac anatomy. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and medical staff. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
