Associate Attorney - Real Estate Investments and Transactions

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its Real Estate Investments and Transactions Group in New York. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactional matters, including joint ventures, complex acquisitions, and real estate finance. Responsibilities Collaborate with partners and senior associates on real estate matters for private equity funds, asset managers, and REITs. Draft, review, and negotiate joint venture agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and financing documents. Coordinate and oversee real estate due diligence projects, including title, survey, and zoning. Maintain client contact and stay informed of industry trends. Requirements 3-5 years of experience at a large law firm. Detail-oriented with excellent writing and time management skills. Admission to practice in New York or eligibility to obtain admission promptly. Experience using AI technologies responsibly in legal practice preferred. Education J.D. degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the New York State Bar. Skills Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
