Medical Surgical / Telemetry NurseThis is an exciting opportunity for a Medical Surgical / Telemetry Nurse to join a dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing, providing high-quality patient care in a critical access setting.ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry environment.Monitor and assess patient conditions and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.Provide education and support to patients and their families.Document all aspects of patient care accurately and in a timely manner.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.Float to different units as needed to meet patient care demands.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing.Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred.Experience working in a critical access hospital is highly preferred.Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.All licenses and certifications must be active and valid at the time of application.Work EnvironmentThis position involves working rotating shifts, including nights. Flexibility with scheduling is required, and candidates should limit their requests for time off to 3-5 days.Additional InformationPlease note that local travelers will not be considered for this position.
