Orthopedics Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner to join a busy outpatient clinic in the Atlanta, GA area. This role focuses on a diverse orthopedic patient population, including hand, joint, and sports medicine cases, offering an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• No call required
• Contract assignment with strong extension potential
• Outpatient clinic setting
• EMR: Epic
• Local candidates only (no travel or lodging provided)

• Perform comprehensive physical exams, assessments, and screenings
• Diagnose and manage orthopedic conditions
• Order and interpret imaging and diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
• Provide patient education on injuries, recovery, and prevention
• Assist with and perform in-office orthopedic procedures (based on experience)
• Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical team

• Orthopedic surgery clinic
• Mix of hand, joint, and sports medicine patients

• Active Georgia Nurse Practitioner license
• Board Certified NP (AANP, ANCC, or equivalent)
• DEA license
• BLS certification
• At least 1 year of experience as an NP preferred
• Must meet all federal, state, and local credentialing requirements
• Must be local to the Atlanta area
