Information Governance Assurance Officer Band 6 Triumph Consultants are looking for Information Governance Assurance Officer to support their client's Information Governance team. You will help ensure the organisation meets its data protection, information governance, DSPT and CQC requirements, while promoting a strong risk-based approach to information security and assurance. Contract is for 6 months in Norwich, Information Governance Assurance Officer - Band 6 Pay Rate: £22.40 per hour PAYE Key requirements Experience of working in Information Governance, data protection or information assurance, ideally within an NHS or healthcare environment. Good knowledge of data protection legislation, confidentiality and information governance requirements. Experience of audits, risk assessments, DPIAs, data breaches and information risk management. Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and identify risks and trends. Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work with senior managers, clinical teams and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities Support the delivery and assurance of the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT), CQC requirements and IG work programme. Manage IG audits, DPIAs, data sharing agreements, confidentiality checks and information risk activities. Investigate and report on data breaches, incidents, complaints and data subject rights requests, ensuring actions are followed up and completed. Collate, analyse and produce clear IG reports, risk information and evidence for committees, senior managers and governance teams. Deputise for the Information Governance Assurance Manager, attending relevant meetings and supporting the development of IG policies, training and improvement plans.
