Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Serve as circulating and/or scrub nurse as assigned.
• Maintain strict sterile and aseptic techniques.
• Monitor patients and identify changes in condition or potential complications.
• Assist with patient positioning, surgical procedures, specimen handling, and surgical counts.
• Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and surgical protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical and multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities.

• Start Date: Earliest 09/21/2026
• Shift: variable start/stop times; weekdays only
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Pay: Weekly
• Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Location: San Rafael, CA 94903

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification required
• Candidate must possess Peri-Op 101 Certification. CNOR preferred.
• Must be independent in the following service lines: Urology, Vascular, Orthopedics, Pain Mgmt, Spine, Eyes and Plastics
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties as required.
